Mid-Level Manufacturing PlannerCompany:Boeing Aerospace OperationsBoeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) is currently seeking a Mid-Level Manufacturing Planner to become part of the Executive Transportation Production Engineering team in San Antonio, TX.Position Responsibilities Include:Develop and implement manufacturing processes, plans, and tooling methodologies for aircraft parts, assemblies and installations.Investigate and resolve technical problems related to manufacturing processesDevelop manufacturing work instructions for mechanical and electrical assemblies and installations.Implement procedures for rework and repair.Develop and implementation of production and tooling methodologiesParticipate as a member of an Integrated Product Team (IPT) in the integration of technical solutionsImplement manufacturing plansResolve technical problems and assist in the implementation of new engineering principles, theories, advanced technologies and conceptsAssist in the implementation of Lean principles and technologiesResolve technical issues that significantly impact performance, cost, or scheduleCommunicate effectively with internal customers and stakeholders to align product development and manufacturing goalsPerform producibility and variation analyses to ensure that manufacturing process capabilities meet requirementsMaintain a focus on safety, quality, and customer satisfaction throughout all manufacturing processesThis position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite in San Antonio, TX. This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret and a Yankee White Clearance Post-Start, Clearance Post-Start is required.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): 5+ years of experience with quality, engineering or supply chain within a production or manufacturing environment3+ years of experience with materials and processes3+ years of experience managing projects5+ years of experience working in design engineering, industrial engineering, quality, supply chain or manufacturing roleExperience in Manufacturing Engineering Planning systems such as Product Data Manager (PDM), GOLDesp and Computer Aided Process Planning (CAPP)Ability to interact with the customer and senior leadership to provide technical demonstrations and presentationsAbility to operate in a stressful working environment and multi-taskPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):5+ years of experience with drawing, reading and interpreting Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)Experience in support of commercial and military customers.Experience in project managementExperience with MESci, GOLDesp, CAPP, REDARSExperience in ME and processes across multiple engineering disciplinesUnderstanding parts turn-ins, process codes, and procurement processesRelocation:Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position.
