Entry Level or Associate Procurement AgentCompany:The Boeing CompanyBoeing Global Services (BGS) is looking for Entry Level or Associate Procurement Agent to join our team in Dallas, TX.Position Responsibilities:Issue POs in a timely mannerCommunicates and follows up with suppliers on order statusCoordinates with suppliers and process PO changesInterpret contract terms and conditionsUnitize metrics and dashboard to ensure timely completion of tasksFacilitates supplier/subcontractor business relationships, delivery requirements and performance to contractual obligations and expectationsDevelops, documents and implements process changes in support of company goalsIdentifies and implements improvements to streamline process flowsPossess general understanding, ability, and knowledge to act independently when working routine problems or situations; Possess general knowledge of company and local policies, procedures and regulationsBasic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):Experience in Procurement and/or Supply ChainExperience working with a procurement systemExperience in working with suppliers and vendorsPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experienceExperience of strategic sourcing objectives including supply base optimization, enterprise leveraging, supplier performance improvement and business considerations to develop the company's supplier base.Experience building and using industry knowledge for planning and performance accomplishment.
