Production Equipment Maintenance TechnicianCompany:The Boeing CompanyBoeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking a Equipment Maintenance Specialist (Level B) or (Level C) to support our Production Equipment Maintenance Team in North Charleston, South Carolina on variable shifts, including nights and weekends. Position Responsibilities:Performs maintenance on factory equipment.Troubleshoots, analyzes, inspects, disassembles, rebuilds, modifies and tests factory machinery and equipment as necessary using knowledge in areas such as mechanics, hydraulics, and pneumatics.Uses and interprets advanced blueprints and schematics to maintain and repair equipment.Responds to requests for equipment repair.Maintains and manages component and replacement part inventories.Works under limited supervision.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):Must be willing and able to work a variable shift.1+ years of experience in equipment maintenance.1+ years of experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications (e.g., blueprint/schematic reading, specification, change, design)1+ years of experience working with Digital Volt Meters (DVM), Oscilloscopes, AC/DC Power supplies, Frequency Generators, and/or Power Meters1+ years of experience using all the following Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel and Outlook)Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):Level C: 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experienceExperience using a CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System)3+ years of experience in equipment maintenance3+ years of experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications (e.g., blueprint/schematic reading, specification, change, design)3+ years of experience working with Digital Volt Meters (DVM), Oscilloscopes, AC/DC Power supplies, Frequency Generators, and/or Power Meters3+ years of experience using all the following Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel and Outlook)Drug Free Workplace: Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies.
