This role combines executive leadership with hands-on technical engagement, including architecture oversight, solution design, and evaluation of emerging technologies to ensure scalable, resilient, and future-ready platforms.Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Leadership & TransformationDefine and execute a multi-year technology strategy aligned with business prioritiesLead large-scale modernization and transformation initiativesBalance short-term delivery with long-term platform evolutionHands-On Technical Leadership & ArchitectureProvide hands-on technical leadership, actively guiding design decisions, architecture reviews, and critical solution trade-offsPartner with Enterprise Architecture and Solution Architecture teams to define and govern target state architecture across application, integration, data, and cloud platformsLead architecture forums and ensure alignment with enterprise standardsDrive engineering excellence through scalability, reusability, and performance optimizationTechnology Evaluation & InnovationEvaluate emerging technologies, platforms, and toolsLead technology selection decisions including build vs buyDrive adoption of AI, automation, and advanced analyticsContinuously modernize the technology stackTechnology Delivery & Platform OwnershipOwn end-to-end delivery and lifecycle of enterprise platformsEnsure systems are scalable, secure, and resilientDrive outcome-based delivery across teamsFinancial & Operational AccountabilityManage IT spend across labor, vendors, and platformsOptimize cost and delivery efficiencyLeadership & Talent DevelopmentLead high-performing engineering and architecture teamsDevelop strong technical leadership benchFoster a culture of innovation and accountabilityStakeholder & Vendor ManagementPartner with business and enterprise leadersCommunicate effectively with senior stakeholdersManage strategic vendor relationshipsUse your skills to make an impact Experience15+ years of progressive technology leadership experience8+ years leading large, complex teamsExperience in architecture leadership and modernization initiativesTechnical ExpertiseExpertise in enterprise architecture, cloud, and distributed systemsExperience with solution design and technology evaluationExperience with AI, automation, and data platformsLeadership CapabilitiesAbility to lead transformation and changeStrong executive communication skillsAbility to influence and drive alignmentEducationBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fieldLocationOnsite a minimum of 3 days a week in one of the following locations: Frisco, TX, Louisville, KY or Nashville, TNScheduled Weekly Hours40Pay RangeThe compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc. $189,400 - $260,500 per year This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan.
