You’ll meet statutory requirements for regulatory reports, external audits, and may participate in the preparation of financial statements. Additionally, you’ll support the organization in meeting local and global regulatory obligations, prepare annual reconciliations between local GAAP and IFRS, and drive process control rigor to support quarterly financial certifications.Job Description:Essential Responsibilities: Initiate accounting processes to ensure financial statements meet local GAAPMonitor the accounting closing process and post journal entries for any required adjustments in the local ledgerSupport the organization in meeting local and global regulatory obligationsDrive process control rigor to support quarterly certification on financialsImplement monthly financial reports and analytics to support structured risk-based monthly financial reviewsImplement statutory financial statements and ensure timely completion of statutory auditsFacilitate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end accounting close activitiesReview and prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, roll-forwards, and month-end reporting packagesMinimum Qualifications:3+ years relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree OR Any equivalent combination of education and experience.Additional Responsibilities & Preferred Qualifications:What you need to know about the role: We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Senior Accountant to join our Record-to-Report team. This role plays a critical part in ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining strong internal controls, and ensuring timely month-end close activities. This role goes beyond execution and requires strong professional judgment, end-to-end process ownership, and the ability to operate independently while partnering cross-functionally. Your Impact: The Staff Accountant will be responsible for preparing journal entries, performing account reconciliations, supporting close and reporting activities, and assisting with audits. This role provides strong exposure to core accounting processes and is well-suited for candidates looking to grow their career within a dynamic, fast-paced organization. Your Day-to-Day:Execute and period-end close activities, such as prepare and review manual journal entries, perform account reconciliations and account fluctuation analysisOwn and manage end-to-end accounting processes, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and timelines of closeApply professional judgment in accordance with US GAAP, internal accounting policies, and SOX requirementsPerform detailed variance (flux) analysis, identify root causes, and coordinate issue resolution with relevant stakeholdersAct as a primary point of contact for assigned processes, partnering with Global Controllership, FP&A, Tax, Treasury, and Operations teamsReview work performed by Staff Accountants, ensuring adherence to quality standards, and provide coaching, guidance, and informal mentorshipDrive process standardization, documentation, and continuous improvement across assigned processesIdentify and implement automation and efficiency opportunities to improve scalability and reduce manual effortPerform testing and validation activities related to system enhancements or upgradesLead and coordinate responses for internal and external audit requests related to assigned processes What You’ll Bring:Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline from an accredited institution5+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably within a multinational environmentStrong working knowledge of US GAAP and global
