They are also someone who is fulfilled by serving and developing cross-functional team members and who is actively engaging in the site, company and community culture.Position Responsibilities:Cultivates a culture of excellence (effective communication, teaming process, high quality connections, trust & respect, collaboration, clear roles, adaptability, conflict management, accountability etc.) within multiple PSC production systems, including the 737MAX Inlet, B-52 Nacelles, and the PSC Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul (MR&O) servicesManages employees performing activities in multiple manufacturing disciplinesManages, develops, and motivates employeesDevelops and executes integrated departmental plans, policies and procedures and provides input on departmental business and technical strategies, goals, and objectivesAcquires resources for department activities, provides technical management of suppliers, and proactively leads process improvementsDevelops and maintains relationships and partnerships with stakeholders, peers, factory support and direct reportsProvides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processesMentors and coaches teammates across the site in the art of winning together and personal/professional developmentNavigates through complexity and ambiguityLeads through influence and works across functions & organizationsUses business acumen to know when to lead via engagement vs. requirement/policy to ensure safety/qualityBasic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):3+ years of experience in aerospace manufacturing operations and/or manufacturing support3+ years of experience leading and influencing cross-functional teams3+ years of experience in management working with direct reports1+ years of experience in lean processes and initiativesWillingness to work any shift based on the needs of the operationCandidates must have at least one year of experience in a leadership role (team leader, temp manager, large scale cross functional project/program management, or formal manager experience) OR have completed the Boeing internal course "Exploring Leadership"Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):Bachelor's degree or higher in Manufacturing or Operations3+ years of experience in a manufacturing operations environment, leading teams  - 11+ years of experience managing Key Performance Indicators within Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost and Manufacturing data - 13+ years of experience using Lean Manufacturing SystemShift:  This is a variable shift position.  Willingness to work any shift based on business needs required.Boeing First-Line Leader Assessment:To be considered for this position you will be required to complete an assessment as part of the selection process.  Failure to complete the assessment will remove you from consideration.Conflict of Interest:Successful candidates for this job must satisfy the Company's Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process.Drug Free Workplace:Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies.Pay & Benefits:At Boeing, we strive to deliver a Total Rewards package that will attract, engage and retain the top talent.
