Join our team and help drive quality, compliance, and continuous improvement.A Quality Assurance Investigator Level 3 performs analysis and disposition of product nonconformances, supports root cause and corrective action activities, evaluates compliance with quality and engineering requirements, and contributes to process and product improvements to ensure quality, compliance, and effective problem resolutionPosition Responsibilities:Investigates product non-conformances, procedures and engineering requirements to develop RCCA.Performs analysis to identify and evaluate the quality of products, operations and processes to Quality Management System requirements, applicable company procedures, contract requirements or government regulationsApplies knowledge of aerospace design, systems and integration to perform failure and forensic analysis of aerospace components and systemsTrains and mentors fellow employees in the Quality Management SystemPerforms root cause analysis on the nonconformance to identify the cause and prevent reoccurrenceIndependently develops, modifies and documents actions to assure problem resolution or to implement corrective/preventive action and documents resolutionObtains corrective action on nonconforming plans and hardware/processesNegotiates concurrence, obtains commitments for taking preventive and corrective action, prioritizes quality activities and ensures problem resolutionReviews and validates the corrective action plans and identifies effectivity to ensure completionReviews and approves Quality planning changes or disposition of nonconformance hardware products/processesGuides validation of configuration management, quality procedures and material review policies to deliver the software productsDevelops software system processes to support changing industry standardsReviews and implements corrective action on audit results to ensure media is stored and handled per engineering defined requirementsInterprets industry standards and provide recommendations for implementationCreates analytical reports and coordinates with the responsible parties for internal/external distributionWorks under general directionBasic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):3+ years of experience in aerospace, fabrication, or a manufacturing environment3+ years of experience conducting quality investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action activities in a production environment3+ years of experience working with Non-Conformance (NCR) processes and Quality Management Systems (QMS)3+ years of experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, and technical requirements3+ years of experience gathering data, performing analysis, and presenting results3+ years of experience with, or knowledge of, at least one airplane systemPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):Associate degree or higherExperience using Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and OutlookExperience working cross-functionally with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teamsExperience supporting root cause corrective action and problem resolution in a production environmentDrug Free Workplace:Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies.Pay & Benefits:At Boeing, we strive to deliver a Total Rewards package that will attract, engage and retain the top talent.
