Senior Multi Operations SpecialistCompany:The Boeing CompanyThe Boeing Company is currently seeking a Senior Multi Operations Specialist to join the team in Auburn, WA. The selected candidate will serve as the Emergency Management lead for Boeing’s Emergency Preparedness and Response Program supporting the Auburn and Frederickson sites. Based in Auburn, Washington, this role is the primary point of contact for emergency management activities across both locations.In this position, you will provide subject matter expertise and leadership to help protect Boeing’s people, property, information, and products in a complex, fast-paced environment. You will also support physical security and fire protection initiatives, helping ensure strong coordination across safety, security, and prevention efforts.Join Boeing Security and Fire Operations and help strengthen the readiness and resilience of our operations. If you bring strategic thinking, strong leadership, and a passion for emergency management, we encourage you to apply.Position Responsibilities:Support cross-functional efforts to align Auburn and Frederickson emergency management programs with Enterprise standards, best practices, and strategic objectivesParticipate as a member of the Auburn and Frederickson Threat Management Team(s) and provide emergency management expertise for risk mitigation and incident response planningRetain the responsibility related to providing emergency management expertise to security operations projects, including access control, surveillance, and fire protection systems, as this remains applicable to Auburn and FredericksonDesign, implement, and manage the site Emergency management program, ensuring compliance with Boeing policies, industry best practices, and federal and state regulationsDevelop and maintain comprehensive emergency plans, including risk assessments, hazard-specific plans, and contingency strategiesEvaluate program health, identify gaps, and implement continuous improvementsServe as the site incident management facilitator, ensuring effective coordination between business units, jurisdictional partners, and regional stakeholdersOversee the activation and operations of the site Emergency Operations Center (EOC)Develop and lead drills and exercises, including table-top and full-scale scenarios, to ensure readiness for various incident typesDeliver training to employees, building safety teams, and site leadership, fostering a culture of preparedness and resilienceProvide guidance and education on the National Incident Management System (NIMS), including required training and its integration to private sector environmentsAct as a subject matter expert for evacuation procedures, employee roles, incident command systems and other emergency management program elementsPartner with local, state, and federal emergency management partners to align and collaborate where appropriateCoordinate with site physical security teams to ensure integration of emergency response, security, and fire operationsSupport cross-functional efforts to standardize and strengthen emergency management programs throughout the region and EnterpriseAssist in developing and implementing physical security strategies to mitigate risks and enhance the overall safety of personnel and assetsProvide emergency management subject matter expertise to security operations projects, including access control, surveillance, and fire protection systemsParticipate as a multi-site Boeing Security & Fire Operations locations Threat Management Team memberSupport Site security functions as neededParticipate in Site Assessments – Supplier Quality Assurance/Personnel Security Questionnaire (SQA/PSQ) to align with company policies & procedures, ensuring the site is inspection ready at all timesRepresent security as a focal on contracts and projectsServe as the primary point of contact for emergency management inquiries and program updatesCommunicate program objectives and progress to senior leadership, employees, and external partnersMentor and coach security operations and incident management team members, fostering professional growth and expertise within the organizationBasic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):5+ years of experience in Emergency Management5+ years of experience with Emergency Response Strategy and Tactics5+ years of experience working in the National Incident Management System (NIMS)3+ years of experience in leading and executing emergency management initiatives in a corporate or government settingCompleted National Incident Management System training classes 100, 200, 700 and 800Able to travel 10% of the timePreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):Bachelor's degree or equivalent work or military experienceAssociate Emergency Manager (AEM), Certified Emergency Manager (CEM), or another state/organizational equivalentExperience managing multi-site emergency management programsExperience developing and implementing process improvements and strategic initiativesExperience in presenting presentationsExperience engaging stakeholders at all organizational levelsExperience in physical security operations or fire protection systemsConflict of Interest: Successful candidates for this job must satisfy the Company’s Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process.Drug Free Workplace:Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies.Pay & Benefits:At Boeing, we strive to deliver a Total Rewards package that will attract, engage and retain the top talent.
