Find your future with us!Role OverviewThe successful candidate will perform the following duties:Ensuring parts are washed or hand finished to the correct standardWorking in line with production requirements and prioritiesVisual inspection of parts for defectsUsing computer systems to book completion of jobs.Working safely with minimal supervision.Ensure correct benching of components, including removal of sharp edges, cleaning of holes, use of orbital sanders, and hand de-burring to drawing and SOP requirements.Ensure finishing of components to achieve ‘as drawn’ featuresPart mark or ident product as per specifications/instructions provided as necessaryBasic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)Previous experience in a parts wash or hand finish role, in a manufacturing environment, or, experience of cleaning to a required standard. Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)Working knowledge of specifications, SOP’s and Work Instructions.Relevant experience or an industry qualification demonstrating use of power/air tools and bench/fettle processesDemonstration of basic numeracy to read measuring equipmentAttention to detail and diligence (right first time)Work with minimum supervision following instructionInitiative in time management and methodSignificant levels of concentration requiredGood verbal communicatorVersatility and flexibility to support job requirements.Becoming a Boeing EmployeeThe Boeing benefits package goes above and beyond, focusing on your physical, emotional, financial and social well-being.
