Join us and help shape the future of aerospace and defense.The T-4 Field support Technician Performs service activities associated with installing, maintaining, and servicing Collins Aerospace Interior products at aircraft manufacturing facilities or customer sites.This is a 2nd Shift Position. 2nd Shift Hours: 2:30pm - 11:00pm, Monday-Friday.What You Will DoPerform preventive maintenance, modifications, and field changes to installed equipment as necessaryProvide support in the conduct and performance of equipment/system acceptance testing following installationUse applicable drawings and tools to troubleshoot problemsEnsure all necessary documentation is correct and completed for works carried; and, all systems are updated and reflect current status against daily work plan (Velocity/CMES, WUC’s)Assist in orienting, training, assigning and checking the work of technical/business support employeesDemonstrate behaviors in line with Collins Leadership Behaviors and ValuesWhile performing the duties of this job, the associate is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions and outside weather conditionsWork in environment where the noise level is usually moderateThe associate must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 poundsAbility to define problems collects data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
