Job Description SummaryWe are seeking an Accessories Engineer to support the startup and operation of a new MRO site, with primary responsibility for the Accessories area. This role requires a professional with strong knowledge of GE Aerospace processes and hands-on experience across maintenance, repair, and overhaul operations involving Gearboxes, Electrical QEC, LRUs, and External Parts Inspection and Repair.The successful candidate will provide technical and operational support for shop processes, drive continuous improvement initiatives using FLIGHT DECK methodology and tools, and help implement new processes while maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality, delivery, and cost.Job DescriptionProvide engineering support for the disassembly, inspection, repair, assembly, and test processes of gearboxes, accessories, LEAP Electrical QEC, and external partsSupport LRU Inspection and external parts inspection and repair activities within the Accessories areaMonitor, support, and implement production flow improvements using FLIGHT DECK methodology and toolsDevelop and execute initiatives and projects focused on quality, safety, productivity, and cost reductionSupport and execute the implementation plan for new processes at the new MRO sitePrepare technical rejection reports for nonconforming products identified during the processWork cross-functionally with operations, quality, and support teams to ensure process readiness and operational excellenceContribute to a culture of continuous improvement and compliance with applicable procedures and standards Qualifications / RequirementsBachelor’s degree completed in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or Production EngineeringFluent English is requiredProficiency in Microsoft Office, especially ExcelExperience with GE Aerospace MRO processes is strongly preferredKnowledge of shop processes related to disassembly, inspection, repair, assembly, and testStrong problem-solving and analytical skillsAbility to work in a dynamic environment supporting the ramp-up of a new operation Desired CharacteristicsExperience in MRO operations within the aerospace industryFamiliarity with GE Aerospace products and processesPractical experience applying FLIGHT DECK principles and lean toolsStrong communication and collaboration skillsProven ability to lead improvement projects and support process implementationResults-oriented mindset with focus on safety, quality, delivery, and costAdditional InformationRelocation Assistance Provided: No#LI-Remote - This is a remote position
