You'll demonstrate superb communication and interpersonal skills as you interact with customers and provide your expertise negotiating various agreements. Your ability to cultivate and nurture a network across functions and influence others to gain support and dedication to get results are keys to success!Responsibilities/Expectations:Develops innovative services, technologies, processes, or products that address current and future customer problems and needsLeads projects and programs with significant risk and complexity to achieve breakthroughs and objectivesMay lead or mentor othersUnderstands all components of a deal structurePartners with others on sophisticated, greenfield business opportunities; uses financial and quantitative information to guide actions and performanceAccurately forecasts financial information and makes prudent decisions regarding expenditures; identifies, monitors and estimates contributors to costsConsiders industry and market trends when making decisions and balances strategic impact on the organizationDevelops opinions and challenges recommendations on basin, customer and competitor intelligence based off third party tools and publicationsBuilds strategies for development of commercial insight and knowledgeOther duties as assignedEducation/Years of Experience:Required: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering or related field and a minimum of fifteen (15) years’ related experiencePreferred: MBAOther Requirements:Knowledge of upstream, midstream or downstream assetsDemonstrates in-depth knowledge of energy market fundamentals and economics including commodity pricing, basin market fundamentals and competitor strategies and actionsDemonstrates in-depth knowledge of commercial aspects of the energy industryExperience with asset developmentConsidered a specialist regarding deal structure, contract terms, financial issues and other aspects of project developmentDemonstrates excellent organizational/interpersonal skills and safety as the utmost priorityProficiency in Microsoft Office Application and PC skills #LI-CT1About Houston (Williams Tower Location):Our Houston office is located in the Williams Tower, just steps from the Houston Galleria on Post Oak Boulevard, an area with more than 700 retailers, fine dining and hotels within two square miles.
