Job Description Summary: The Director, Channel & Portfolio for Italy acts as the integrator across Marketing, Commercial Leadership, RGM, bottler and EOU partners—mobilizing teams toward an unified, insight driven activation and portfolio agenda across all channels — At Home, Away From Home, and Digital Commerce (online grocery, quick‑commerce, AFH aggregators).1) Channel & Portfolio Strategy and Activation ExcellenceCoordinate the integrated portfolio and channel strategies that ensure consistent execution across At Home, Away from Home and eCommerce.Design and deploy multi-brand activation platforms, aligned to market opportunities, global assets, and sustainability/packaging priorities, ensuring portfolio and activation strategies translate into sustained customer engagement and repeat purchaseTogether with the channel directors and the bottler, translate strategies into channel activation plans and LoS guidelines—codify, scale, and continuously improve.2) Local Commercial Planning (LRP/ABP) & Integrated RoutinesLead/shape inputs to LRP/ABP in partnership with Strategy, Marketing, RGM and Commercial-ensuring connected, insight-led, financially disciplined plans.Ensure system alignment (Company, bottler, OU) and stronger planning–performance linkage through embedded analytics.Lead system alignment on omni-channel commercial execution priorities, implementation plans and overall oversight across the ABC commercial execution framework3) Performance Narrative Lead Performance Narrative coordination for all bottlers- weekly sales check in, monthly internal performance, support for MBR and system routinesLead dynamic scenario planning in sync with RGM, FLA and the channel directors, ensuring E2E approach and coordination with the bottler4) System Leadership, External Influence & Capability BuildingBuild strong relationship with the bottler (shopper marketing, channel teams) to drive joint value creation.Lead capability building on activation excellence; bring relevant best practices across channels and share across all bottlers elevating consistency and quality of execution in marketExperience & CapabilitiesStrong acumen in commercial planning, P&L management, and ROI optimization.Proven ability to apply data science, AI, and advanced analytics to commercial decision-making.Background in portfolio strategy, channel activation, shopper marketing or RGM.Executive presence and excellent storytelling; able to simplify complexityDemonstrated success influencing without authority in matrixed, multi‑market environments.Languages: Italian, English required;QualificationsBachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred (Business, Analytics, Marketing or related).8–10 years in relevant commercial/local marketing, trade marketing roles with increasing scope and system leadership.TravelUp to 20–25%, subject to business needs.Skills:Business Integrations, Business Planning, Channel Management, Communication, Execution Excellence, Market Dynamics, Negotiation, Revenue Growth Management, Value Chain EconomicsPay Range:Italy: 75,500 EUR - 106,000 EURBase pay offered may vary depending on geography, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
