PNC will not provide sponsorship for employment visas or participate in STEM OPT for this position.Job DescriptionAs a Scrum Master / IT Project Manager, this role is responsible for driving the successful delivery of technology initiatives through a balanced blend of traditional project management and Agile Scrum practices. The position emphasizes execution, delivery management, and stakeholder coordination, while also supporting Agile teams through Scrum ceremonies and continuous improvement.This role is best suited for an experienced Scrum Master who is comfortable operating with a 70% Project Manager focus and 30% Scrum Master focus in a complex, regulated enterprise environment.Key ResponsibilitiesProject Management (Approximately 70%)Lead end-to-end IT project planning and execution, including scope, schedule, budget, risks, and dependenciesDevelop and maintain project plans, timelines, and delivery roadmapsTrack milestones, manage issues and risks, and escalate as neededCoordinate across technology, business, and vendor teams to ensure on-time deliveryProvide clear, consistent status reporting to stakeholders and leadershipEnsure compliance with PNC governance, SDLC, and risk management standardsScrum Master Responsibilities (Approximately 30%)Serve as Scrum Master for Agile teams, ensuring adherence to Scrum principles and best practicesFacilitate Agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectivesRemove impediments and support teams in delivering sprint commitmentsPartner with Product Owners to support backlog readiness and sprint executionPromote continuous improvement and Agile maturity across the teamPreferred QualificationsScrum Master Certification (CSM, SSM, or equivalent)Proven Scrum Master experience supporting Agile delivery teamsStrong IT Project Management experience, managing technology initiatives from initiation through deliveryDemonstrated ability to balance traditional project management and Agile Scrum responsibilitiesStrong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skillsExperience working in enterprise technology environments, preferably within financial servicesNice-to-Have QualificationsPMP or other project management-related certifications or trainingExperience working in regulated or highly governed environmentsStrong problem-solving and decision-making skillsAbility to influence without authority and drive alignment across teamsPNC Employees take pride in our reputation and to continue building upon that we expect our employees to be:Customer Focused - Knowledgeable of the values and practices that align customer needs and satisfaction as primary considerations in all business decisions and able to leverage that information in creating customized customer solutions.Managing Risk - Assessing and effectively managing all of the risks associated with their business objectives and activities to ensure they adhere to and support PNC's Enterprise Risk Management Framework.QualificationsSuccessful candidates must demonstrate appropriate knowledge, skills, and abilities for a role.
