Who we are looking forWe are looking for a HR Operations professional who combines strong hands‑on expertise with people leadership. You bring deep knowledge of Polish HR administration and labor law, confidence in managing operational risk and controls, and the ability to lead a team delivering high‑quality, compliant HR services.This role is ideal for someone who enjoys owning HR operations end‑to‑end, improving processes, and acting as a trusted partner to the business and external providers.Your roleAs HR Operations Lead, you will lead a team of HR Administrators and be accountable for the effective delivery of HR administrative services in Poland. You will balance people leadership with hands‑on operational ownership.What you will be responsible forLead, coach, and develop a team of HR Administrators, ensuring consistent service quality, engagement, and clear accountabilityOwn and oversee HR administrative processes, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, confidentiality, and compliance with local regulationsAct as a subject‑matter expert for Polish HR administration, monitoring legislative changes and translating them into operational impactPartner closely with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure seamless service delivery and issue resolutionReview, maintain, and enhance HR policies, procedures, and process documentationIdentify opportunities for operational improvements and independently drive process enhancements and standardizationCoordinate the flow of critical HR information to stakeholders, vendors, and external partners, ensuring appropriate follow‑upManage complex employee inquiries related to HR administration and employment lifecycle processesPrepare standard and ad‑hoc HR reports, providing insights and ensuring data qualityWhat we valueTo succeed in this role, you will bring:8+ years of experience in Polish HR Operations, including at least 2 years in a people‑management roleStrong practical knowledge of Polish Labor Code, HR administration, and operational controlsExperience working with outsourced providers and managing service qualitySolid understanding of social security (ZUS) obligations and working time regulationsGood command of English, sufficient for daily business communicationVery strong Excel skills (including pivot tables, lookups, and advanced functions)High attention to detail combined with the ability to operate effectively in a dynamic environmentStrong stakeholder management and communication skills, with a high level of professionalism and confidentialityA proactive, solution‑oriented mindset with strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilitiesAbout State StreetWhat we do.
