Dietary Aide position summary The primary purpose of your job position is to provide assistance in all dietary functions as directed and assure that quality dietary services are provided on a daily basis. Responsible for maintaining the dietary department in a clean, safe and sanitary manner. Prepare food in accordance with sanitary regulations as well as our established policies and proceduresDevelop and maintain a good working rapport with inter-department personnel as well as with other departments within the program to assure that food service can be properly maintained to meet the needs of the participantsMaintain inventory and restock supplies as neededAssist in preparing and serving nutritional supplements and snacks under the direction of the Dietitian or designeeWork in various line functions as assigned to include setting up meal trays, food carts, dining room, etcPerform day-to-day housekeeping functions within the kitchen areaParticipate in and supports Quality Improvement InitiativesMaintain the confidentiality of all PACE Organization (PO) procedures, results, and information about participants, families, and vendors. Minimum qualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalent required.
