Supports and assists the Executive Director of Clinical Operations in providing 24 hr. resource management services including utilization management, social work, case management and discharge planning. Assists in the selection, development, and corrective action of staff & holds them accountable for & recognizes their contributions to quality outcomes. Maintains full responsibility to assure customer & physical satisfaction is achieved & makes day to day decisions. What You Will DoLeadership & CultureModel and uphold the organization’s mission, values, and ethical standards.Foster a respectful, inclusive environment that values diversity and dignity.Promote integrity, accountability, and teamwork across all staff.Lead change initiatives and remove barriers to organizational improvement.Recognize, reward, and develop team members through consistent coaching and feedback.Operations & Patient CareOversee 24/7 department operations and ensure delivery of safe, high-quality patient care.Delegate, supervise, and evaluate care provided by the clinical team.Ensure care delivery is appropriate to patient age and clinical needs.Coordinate department operations to support efficient patient flow and outcomes.Maintain staffing models that align with patient acuity and productivity goals.Quality, Safety & ComplianceEnsure compliance with all regulatory, legal, and patient safety requirements.Promote a culture focused on minimizing risk and improving patient safety.Monitor patient satisfaction and implement improvements to exceed expectations.Lead performance improvement initiatives and benchmark outcomes.Maintain accurate documentation, including services and charges as applicable.Financial & Strategic ManagementDevelop, manage, and maintain departmental budgets with minimal variance.Optimize resource utilization to improve financial performance.Identify opportunities to enhance efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.Align departmental activities with organizational strategy and goals.People Management & DevelopmentRecruit, hire, orient, and retain highly qualified staff.Ensure staff competency through education, training, and skill validation.Conduct performance evaluations and maintain development plans for all direct reports.Address employee concerns, resolve conflicts, and enforce policies fairly.Promote continuous learning and professional development.Physician & Stakeholder RelationsBuild strong, collaborative relationships with physicians.Develop and execute plans to improve physician satisfaction.Partner across departments to solve problems and improve care delivery.What You Will NeedEducation & LicensureGraduate of an approved school of nursing.
