We are so glad you are interested in joining Sutter Health!Organization:S3-Sutter Shared Services-ValleyPosition Overview:Performs a variety of technical and administrative activities in administering a human resources program/function – areas include benefits. Determines eligibility, researches and gathers relevant information/data, and maintains a computerized diary pertaining to each individual case/issue. Reviews and processes a variety of documents and reconciles data and billing reports. Responds to escalated inquiries and works with third-party administrator or vendor to resolve case or system issues. Maintains provider network database and serves as primary point of contact for provider network questions, support, and other related tasks.Job Description:The candidate selected for this role must come on site for work 8-12 days per month (2-3 days a week). Candidate must live a commutable distance to the office in Sacramento.EDUCATION:HS Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)TYPICAL EXPERIENCE:1 year recent relevant experienceSKILLS AND KNOWLEDGEFamiliar with practices and terminologies/jargon used in assigned functional area. Ability to learn and understand new processes or concepts quickly.General awareness of applicable laws and regulations governing program administration for assigned Human Resources (HR) function.Ability to read, comprehend, and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies and procedures governing benefit/plan administration.Ability to compute and apply basic mathematical functions and computations, including calculating percentages.Demonstrates critical thinking skills with the ability to research and resolve questionable data. Organization skills and attention to details.Ability to prioritize workload to complete assignments accurately and timely.Ability to communicate through verbal and written means, and to understand and follow verbal andwritten instructions.Ability to interact and maintain effective working relationships with those contacted in the performance of required duties.Displays a customer service focus in all decisions and actions.Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment with changing business priorities.
