We are so glad you are interested in joining Sutter Health!Organization:SMCS-Valley AdministrationPosition Overview:Works with affiliate leaders and staff, providing leadership, direction and guidance on strategies and methods to maintain continuous readiness for state, federal and accreditation inspections and surveys. Provides facility assessment and education, and program development and implementation. Serves as an on-site consultant and liaison during actual surveys, providing affiliate with meeting notes, survey trends and summary findings.Job Description:EDUCATIONEquivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma.PREFERRED EXPERIENCE AS TYPICALLY ACQUIRED IN:8 years experience progressively responsible in healthcare accreditation and licensing, integrated quality services and/or clinical patient care .8 years experience healthcare delivery in an acute and/or non-acute care setting.8 years experience working with Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), California Department of Public Health (CDPH), and the Joint Commission (TJC).8 years experience providing guidance and leadership for accreditation and licensure activities.SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGEWorking knowledge of cms, cdph, tjc and institute of medical quality (imq) accreditation standards and licensing requirements.Working knowledge of healthcare delivery, clinical care coordination, and quality improvement/management methodologies.Ability to define issues, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.Critical thinking and analytical skills with a keen attention to details.Demonstrates a proactive approach in identifying and addressing issues and concerns.Ability to influence others by persuasion and problem solving to achieve desired outcome.Collaboration skills to facilitate open sharing of information and cooperation with various stakeholders.Displays a customer service focus in all decisions and actions.Organization skills to effectively manage and/or re-prioritize activities and projects to meet deadlines while maintaining a high degree of responsiveness.Ability to communicate through verbal and written means, and to present information to a variety of audiences.Ability to interact and maintain effective working relationships with those contacted in the performance of required duties.Demonstrates respect for cultural and linguistic differences and promotes an inclusive work environment.Demonstrates initiative in providing feedback/input to improve workflow/processes.Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment with changing business priorities.Ability to maintain and work discreetly with confidential information.Ability to use essential applications and/or databases associated with the role’s duties and responsibilities.Job Shift:DaysSchedule:Full TimeShift Hours:8Days of the Week:Friday, Monday, Thursday, Tuesday, WednesdayWeekend Requirements:NoneBenefits:YesUnions:NoPosition Status:Non-ExemptWeekly Hours:40Employee Status:RegularSutter Health is an equal opportunity employer EOE/M/F/Disability/Veterans.Pay Range is $50.16 to $75.24 / hourThe compensation range may vary based on the geographic location where the position is filled.
