We are seeking a benefits-eligible temporary Course Support Specialist to provide specialized support to a variety of Computer Science courses in the Computer Science Department. Responsibilities: Provide extensive course management support including but not limited to initiating and maintaining online course information/updates in an internal course management system (CMS), course websites, canvas sites, Ed Discussions, Student Disability Services systems, Faculty Center, and Slack; manage special needs cases (overtime/make up exams), academic integrity cases; coordinate exam/grading sessions, TA meetings, review sessions; prepare course materials, manage/track course logistics all while using a high degree of confidentiality and discretion. The Course Coordinator is required to work occasional department events that may be scheduled outside of regular business hours. Required Qualifications: Associate’s degree and 2 to 4 years relevant experience or equivalent combination. Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills required. Must be detail-oriented and demonstrate sound judgment. Exceptional customer service skills and ability to handle competing priorities required. Demonstrated ability to work independently and as a member of a team. Ability to work effectively with a diverse group of individuals including faculty, staff, students and visitors.
