Micron Technology is a world leader in innovating memory and storage solutions that accelerate the transformation of information into intelligence, inspiring the world to learn, communicate and advance faster than ever.AI enablement Role Responsibilities & TasksProblem Definition & Use Case DesignUnderstand business needs and translate them into AI solutionsAssess feasibility of AI vs conventional approachesWork with stakeholders (engineering, product, operations)Data Engineering & PreparationCollect and integrate data from multiple sourcesClean, preprocess, and structure datasetsPerform feature engineering to improve model accuracyModel Development (Core AI/ML Work)Design and train ML / deep learning modelsSelect algorithms (e.g., regression, neural networks, transformers)Tune hyperparameters and optimize performanceSystem Design & IntegrationBuild end-to-end AI systems (data → model → API → application)Integrate models into applications, pipelines, or cloud platformsDevelop APIs and services for AI functionalitySupplier Quality programs, Role Responsibilities & TasksDefine and govern Micron’s global FE IQC business processes, ensuring clarity and standardizationProvide advisory support to sites on IQC implementation and deploymentEstablish and maintain IQC process documentation to meet minimum global standards and requirementsIdentify, prioritize, and drive new IQC initiatives, including assignment of clear ownershipMonitor ongoing IQC improvement programs and share best-known methods (BKM) and lessons learned across sitesOwn and manage FE IQC metrics, partnering with Site Champions to drive performance toward targetsLead regular IQC SWAT governance forums, ensuring global alignment and execution consistencyConsolidate and prioritize key issues and gaps, coordinating resolution with SWAT stakeholdersDrive cross-functional alignment on projects and system enhancements identified through IQC SWAT to support Continuous Improvement (CIP)HVM SQE - Supplier Development and Excursion ManagementLead Global Material Specification definition and alignment activities with internal stakeholders and suppliers.Devise Category Quality Strategy for supplier/ material development programs including Quality Roadmap and Defense Line Program.Deploy Quality programs, lessons learnt and benchmark to/ with suppliers to ensure controls and preventive measures are in place to support Shift-Left-Strategy.Host regular Quality and Technical Review (QTR) meetings with strategic and developing suppliers.Manage supplier and sub-supplier changes in Supplier Change Management (SCM).Oversee globally affected Gas issues resolution and ensure they are prioritized appropriately.Work collaboratively with Global OCT MTE, Operations and Facility globally for deep dive root cause investigations, corrective and preventive actions to ensure no recurrence of related Quality issues.Fan out lesson learnt to R&D and HVM Fabs to ensure closure loop communication and prevent recurrence globally.Define, manage, and monitor supplier monthly quality performance metrics and their compliance to Micron SRS.Enhance the supplier quality business processes to improve productivity and efficiency.Support Global Procurement on supplier performance rating on Quality related criteria.Training and Development Take ownership and hold both yourself and others accountable for achieving goals and completing action items from projects, meetings, and discussions.Establish clear, measurable personal development and performance objectives aligned with departmental and corporate priorities.Leverage guidance from coaches and mentors to build the skills necessary for your next career steps.Manage time and resources efficiently to maximize productivity.Continuously reflect on your performance, approach, and goals to drive improvement.Demonstrate a strong commitment to quality in all aspects of your work.Deliver assignments with accuracy, thoroughness, and timeliness.Show initiative and self-motivation in completing tasks, training, and projects.Growth Opportunity:Collaborate with global SQEs and cross-regional team members to support initiatives related to various categories.Serve as a key subject matter expert in the supplier digitalization program, contributing insights and guidance.Build deep expertise in material criticality for semiconductor manufacturing by acting as a primary liaison with suppliers.Job Profile(s): Quality Engineer 3 - Quality Engineer 4About Micron Technology, Inc.We are an industry leader in innovative memory and storage solutions transforming how the world uses information to enrich life for all.
