Senior Physical Security SpecialistCompany:The Boeing CompanyThe Boeing Company is seeking an experienced Senior Physical Security Specialist to join our team in Berkeley, MO.This position requires a strong background in supporting construction projects for classified programs. The role requires developing ICD-705 compliant documents, including Fixed Facility Checklists (FFC), Construction Security Plans (CSP), and DCSA Forms 147, to support both Intelligence and DoD community customer bases.The successful candidate will be responsible for Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities (SCIF) and Special Access Program Facilities (SAPF) construction and accreditation. This will involve creating plans for performing technical inspections and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to develop and respond to Requests for Information.In addition, the candidate will conduct routine secure area construction project inspections to ensure quality assurance and compliance, as well as conduct STC testing to guarantee rated perimeters meet customer requirements.Position Responsibilities:Maintain and leverage working relationships with internal and external customers, peers and senior management across multiple program sites and business unitsAssist in presentation preparation for program status and reviews (internal and external)Have firm understanding of requirements of Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) 705 related to physical security and construction requirements for SAPFs submitting pre-construction and accreditation packages to include Fixed Facility Checklists (FFCs), TEMPEST Assessments, and DCSA Forms 147sComplete or assist in the drafting and completion of the Concept of Operations and/or Construction Security PlansConduct technical inspections and STC testingPerform design reviews of the project plans throughout each phase of the design processParticipate and provide technical support when attending meetings, in-progress reviews, integrated concept, product teams, working groups, design meetings or conferencesProvide guidance on design of communication systems adhere to CNSSAM TEMPEST 1-13 & CNSSI 7003 standardsProvide design review and guidance on related Access Control & Intrusion Detection systemsMonitor and observe the tradesmen as they accomplish their various tasks to preclude the introduction of electronic, electrical, mechanical, or any other type of hostile surveillance monitoring devices into finished constructionOperate various technical inspection equipmentUseful knowledge of all construction disciplines, including civil architectural, mechanical, electrical, and electronic engineering principlesGuide and review architectural drawings, to confirm adherence to physical security requirementsFoster a positive work environment, promoting teamwork and collaboration among security staffWrite detailed reports and complete the analyses of issues, findings, and security situations that require staff actionMaintain daily logs during tours of dutyMaintain composure in dealing with authorities, executives, clients, staff and the public, occasionally under conditions of urgency and in pressure situationsFrequent sitting, standing and walking, which may be required for up to several hours per day and may involve bending at the waist, climbing stairs, and walking up inclines and on uneven terrainMay be required to use vehicle in the performance of duties. Vehicles are to include but not limited to: cars, trucks, electric carts, and bicyclesAssignment may be exposed to inclement weather or be required to work in environments or under conditions that require the use of protective gear and devices and/or awareness of personal safety and safety of othersBasic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): Successfully completed Tier 5 Investigation (T5), formerly known as a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) by the federal government within the last 5 years, or requires candidate to have been enrolled in a Continuous Vetting program within the last 5 yearsAbility to obtain access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) and/or Special Access Programs (SAP)Ability to obtain U.S. Polygraph5+ years of experience designing, building, and accrediting SCIFs and SAPFs5+ years experience with ICD 705 and TEMPEST standards for building and accrediting secure spaces and 32 CFR, Part 117 for DoD collateral spaces5+ years experience writing Construction Security Plans, conducting and coordinating site security assessments, and creating Fixed Facility Checklists and documentation supporting SCIF, SAPF and Open Storage accreditationsCompletion of U.S. Government-approved SCIF, SAPF, SSM, CST training course(s)The ability to work / travel domestically up to 10% of the timePreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):Bachelor's degree or equivalent work or military experienceASIS PSP or CPP CertificationPMI PMP CertificationIndustry recognized TSCM training or certificationIndustry RF/STC Door training or certificationIndustry recognized RF/TEMPEST training or certificationIndustry recognized Acoustical Testing training or certificationExperience with DoD SAP Manuals, ICDs, and TEMPEST guidanceCapable of independent decision-making, possess a high degree of individual initiative, and be able to function with minimal supervisionAbility to learn security operations and proceduresAbility to see, hear, speak, and write clearly in order to communicate with employees and clientsExperience as a manager in construction project management to read and markup construction drawings and interpret and implement government standards for secure space projectsConflict Of Interest:Successful Candidates for this job must satisfy the Company’s Conflict Of Interest (COI) assessment process.Drug Free Workplace:Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as ou
