Join us in powering the progress of global aerospace.Position Overview The Boeing Company is currently looking for an Associate Structural Analysis Engineer to join the Mechanical & Structures Engineering Team located at Bangalore, India. The specific job level is 2, which includes candidate with 5+ years of experience depending on the educational qualification.Position Responsibilities: The successful candidate will perform the following duties:Responsible for performing structural analysis of aircraft components, assemblies, and systems while working as an integrated teamStructural analysis includes calculation of loads, Static analysis, Fatigue analysis, Damage-Tolerance analysis, and Vibration analysisEvaluate structural integrity of aircraft components by way of classical hand calculations and, finite element methodGenerate documentation to report analysis and, test results to support certification/qualificationSupport Gated Reviews to validate the quality and completeness of work packagesFamiliar with regulatory framework (FAA and Mil-Spec), for warranting safety and regulatory complianceBasic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience) Bachelor degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement5+ years of experience in stress analysisMust have experience working with cross-functional teams spread across multiple products and external partners.Must be flexible, with a high tolerance for organizational complexity and ability to work with partners from within Boeing and outside, across different cultures and time-zones.Communication – strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to prepare comprehensive reports, proposals. Candidate must be fluent in English, and familiar with MS Office tools.Candidate must be a self-starter with a positive attitude, high ethics, and a track record of working successfully under pressure in a time-constrained environment.Candidate must demonstrate excellent analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to mentor and teach subordinates and partners to accomplish project and departmental goals and objectives.Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience) Masters Degree in Mechanical/Aerospace/Applied Mechanics/Structural engineering is preferred.Experience in structural analysis of various airframe structures.Experience with structural analysis of metallic and composite structures.Experience with Boeing Products is preferredExperience with static and fatigue analysisKnowledge of airplane operating environmentsTypical Education & Experience: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Masters+ 4 years' related work experience.Relocation:This position offers relocation within INDIA.Language Requirements:Not ApplicableEducation:Bachelor's Degree or EquivalentRelocation:This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.Security Clearance:This position does not require a Security Clearance.Visa Sponsorship:Employer will not sponsor applicants for employment visa status.Contingent Upon Award ProgramThis position is not contingent upon program awardShift:Not a Shift Worker (India)
