In this role you will use a comprehensive knowledge of financial/business concepts, contract management, processes and procedures in accordance with contract requirements, managing the business within cross-functional areas. As Program Manager, you will be in charge of driving the program cross functionally to meet Company’s targets, mitigate risks and maximize Customer satisfaction.This role is related to the T700 Program.Job DescriptionEssential ResponsibilitiesResponsible for the execution of contracts, maximizing benefits and opportunities:Create and execute an integrated plan to meet Company economics/financial and contractual targets within the allocated budget, including margin expansion initiativesDefine, update and monitor budget, business plan, economics, financials, program and contract KPI (OTD, VoC, etc)Actively identify and manage risks and keep risk register updateExecute activities to address customer concerns to maximize Customer satisfactionLead the interfunctional Program Team (ENG, GSC, QUA, etc.)Flow-down the contract requirements and the Customer demand to GSCDrive the Program Control Board and the Configuration Management meetingsSupport the Commercial Team during all the phases of an offer, starting from the Customer's needs through the negotiations and until the hand-over at the Kick-Off meetingSupport the preparation of program reviews with Customer, in accordance with the contractual and customer expectationsMonitor the program progress (reporting relevant KPIs, EV etc.) at the operating rhythm (WOR, MOR, QMI, Cash Flow, etc)Prepare and archive the documentation sent to the Customer (PO acceptance, official letters, cost sheets)Establish regular communication pattern, keeping Program Director, team and Customers informed about program status, significant developments and business issues Qualifications/RequirementsEngineering bachelor’s degree from an accredited University (Industrial/Management)Sense of urgency in dealing with complex issues and tasksProven leadership skills and ability to effectively work in a matrix team/organizationExcellent collaboration, organizational and change agent skillsFluent written and spoken Italian and EnglishWillingness and ability to travel for meetingsWork Visa, according to local regulation, is required Desired CharacteristicsStrong interpersonal and leadership skillsAbility to lead cross functional and customer / supplier teamsStrong conflict resolution skillsStrong business and financial acumenStrong influencing skills in a global environmentKnowledge and expertise in Planning / Scheduling / Monitoring / Cost Controls Specific knowledge of aero engines, military environment, overhaul and repair processesAble to communicate with all levels of internal and external customer organizations, including upper managementStrong analytical and problem solving skills; ability to assess situations make judgments based on practice or previous experienceLean mindsetWhat we offerSmart working and work life-balanceAvio Aero, when possible, promotes smart work in hybrid mode, and encourages a good, healthy and satisfying work-life balance.
