You will analyze data, document findings in electronic laboratory notebooks, and prepare clear summaries and reports. You will collaborate cross-functionally and communicate results to team and departmental audiences. You may also contribute to the development and continuous improvement of potency assay workflows, including the implementation of automated solutions to enhance robustness, throughput, and data quality.How You Will Achieve ItIndependently execute routine experiments with minimal variability in design and executionPlan and perform more complex experiments with appropriate guidanceApply scientific principles to support assay development, process and product understanding, and related activitiesAnalyze and interpret data; troubleshoot experimental issues and identify unexpected results with guidanceDevelop and refine experimental protocolsAccurately document experimental work in electronic laboratory notebooksSummarize and clearly communicate results to team and departmental audiencesAuthor technical reports, protocols, and supporting documentationCollaborate effectively across cross-functional teams to achieve project goalsLeverage scientific literature to inform experimental design and data interpretationSupport lab operations, including equipment maintenance and continuous improvement initiativesContribute to the development, optimization, and implementation of automated potency assay workflows to improve robustness, throughput, and data qualityQualificationsMust-HaveBA/BS with at least 3+ years of experience or MBA/MS with any years of experienceDemonstrate technical expertise in immunological and cell-based assays, including ELISAs, cytotoxicity assays, tissue culture, and molecular biology techniquesExperience with mammalian cell culture and aseptic techniqueExperience with high-throughput liquid handling and automation platformsStrong scientific curiosity and understanding of potency assaysAbility to critically evaluate, adapt, and apply scientific techniquesUnderstanding of project scope and how individual work contributes to broader departmental and organizational goalsHighly motivated and able to work effectively in a fast-paced, matrixed environmentStrong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate in a multidisciplinary teamExcellent written and verbal communication skillsWell-organized, independent, and solution-oriented with a creative approach to problem-solving Nice-to-HavePharmaceutical and biotech drug discovery experienceExperience in developing and troubleshooting bioassays designed to assess functionalityExperience with live-cell imaging systemsExperience with Hamilton liquid handlersExperience using common AI tools, including generative technologies such as ChatGPT or Microsoft Copilot, to support problem solving and enhancePHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTSPosition requires occasional light lifting and periods of standing, sitting or walking.Work Location Assignment: On Premise The annual base salary for this position ranges from $68,600.00 to $114,300.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer’s Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 7.5% of the base salary.
