You will learn from brilliant business leaders and colleagues who provide mentorship and inspiration so that you can become a better you.Main Job Purpose: The role offers strong exposure to Modern Trade customers and commercial decision-making, with opportunities to deepen business partnering capabilities across channels. This position provides valuable support to the CD Finance team in driving total performance management for CBD spends through enablers and analysis as the performance management champion. You will also need to independently drive performance management and decision support for assigned Modern Trade customers, ensuring accurate, timely, and decision-ready financial insights. You will serve as the main finance partner for specific channels and customers aligned within the team. The role operates with general guidance from the CD Finance Modern Trade Lead, translating business briefs into structured analyses, clean working files, and clear actions. The incumbent is expected to own recurring processes and customer-related issues end-to-end, escalating material risks or ad hoc complexities. What Will Your Main Responsibilities Be:Drive Performance Management of Total CBD Spends together with CDF TeamPrepare financial simulations and analysis to enable informed decision-making, with clear assumptions and recommendationsSupport CDF MT and DT Leads in the preparation of working files for monthly updates to the Business Unit (CSP and MT) leads and to the BU Finance leadsPrepare financial presentations and submissions for forecastsEnsure operational accuracy and monitoring of CBD Spends vs ForecastWork closely with CD Operations team in driving spend discipline and hygieneProvide Decision Support and Timely Analysis on High-Value Business PrioritiesBusiness Cases for new investments or changes to existing business modelsROI analysis for changes to customer contractsLong-range planning for key customersInvestment optimization and growth plans for priority customers​Support CDF MT Lead on driving business performance interventionsGrowth SpottingProfitability ImprovementSpends Optimization and ROMI​Build deep understanding on customers and channelsMastery of financial impact of TTA per customer for the assigned channels and customersServe as the main finance partner for assigned channels and customersEnsure budget and plans align to contractual obligations ​Drive optimization on non-contractual spends together with partnersWays of Working & Ownership Expectations:Own assigned customer projects and workstreams with end-to-end accountability, translating high-level objectives into structured analyses and decision-ready materialsProduce clean, well-documented working files that can be reviewed, built upon, or referenced without reworkResolve recurring or minor issues independently, applying judgment and prior learningsEscalate material risks, deviations, or non-standard issues, with proposed options or recommendationsWhat Success in This Role Looks Like:Delivers accurate, timely, and decision-ready analyses with minimal reworkManages assigned customers with confidence, consistency, and sound judgmentAnticipates recurring issues and applies repeatable solutionsEnables the CD Finance MT Lead to focus on total direction-setting, complex interventions, and the rest of the MT channels customers.Drive optimization on non-contractual spends together with partnersExperiences & QualificationsWHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEEDAt least 3-5 years of experience in FinanceBasic knowledge of Management Accounting, Reporting, and BudgetingExperience in business partnering roles preferredCommercial support and decision support (including preparing financial models and ROI analysis)Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision, translating high-level guidance into structured outputs and solutionsComfortable managing multiple customers and priorities in a fast-paced, lean environmentExperience in investment evaluation, analysis and tracking KPIsStrong analytical capabilities with bias to drive actionAdvanced skills in ExcelUnilever embraces diversity and encourages applicates from all walks of life!
