Coverage Area: Washington County, Maryland Position Overview We are looking for a compassionate and motivated Travel Physical Therapist to provide high-quality home health services throughout Washington County, MD. The Physical Therapist will evaluate and treat patients in their homes, helping them regain mobility, improve functional independence, and achieve optimal outcomes. Key ResponsibilitiesEvaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans. Implement and follow through with physician-approved plans of care. Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary team members including:Registered NursesPhysical Therapy AssistantsOccupational TherapistsHome Health AidesCommunicate patient progress, changes in condition, and care concerns with the healthcare team. Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, mobility techniques, and safety practices. Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation. Ensure compliance with home health policies and regulatory standards. Required QualificationsActive Physical Therapy LicenseMaster’s or Doctorate Degree in Physical TherapyMinimum 1+ year of experience in one of the following:Home HealthHospitalSkilled Nursing Facility (SNF)Outpatient SettingPreferred QualificationsPrevious Home Health experience preferred. Strong teamwork and collaboration skills. Excellent organizational and communication abilities. Ability to work independently and manage patient schedules efficiently.
