26006250 Registered Nurse (RN) PRN III Nights – Mother Baby for Texas Health Alliance Bring your passion to Texas Health so we are Better + Together Work location: Texas Health Alliance, 10864 Texas Health Trail, Fort Worth, TX 76244 Work hours: PRN Level III/per diem, Night Shift 7p – 7a; minimum requirement: 6 shifts per 6 weeks schedule, 2 weekend shifts per 6 weeks and 1 major and 2 minor holiday shifts a year Mother Baby Unit Department Highlights Texas Health Alliance is a Baby-friendly and Texas 10-step designated facility.40-bed Postpartum/Newborn, couplet care Average between 170 to 200 deliveries per month and increasing volume12-bed NICU/Neonatal ICU 4 OB/ED bays14-bed LDR’s 2 OR suites Here’s What You Need Associate Degree in Nursing or Diploma in Nursing required; BSN preferredRN - Registered Nurse Upon Hire requiredBCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly requiredNRP - Essential Neonatal Resuscitation Program within 90 Days of hireCPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention Training Maintained Annually within 90 Days of hire1 Year Experience as a clinical nurse or completion of an RN residency program ReqMother Baby experience strongly preferred What You Will Do Delivers care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process Assesses the patientPlans the care of the patientIntervenes as appropriateEvaluates the effectiveness of interventionsIncorporates age specific safety/infection control measures into patient care.Initiates action to meet patient and/or significant others need for informationMaintains continuity of patient care inter-shift, inter-hospital, and while expediting out of hospital transfers.
