Position Overview We are seeking an IT Help Desk technician to join our team! This is a full-time position working Monday – Friday with occasional Saturdays. This position will be responsible for the daily operations of the help desk by providing technical support to users on the company’s computer systems and peripherals. Responsibilities Provides support and service to our employees by responding to inbound phone calls, email, or help desk requests for technical assistanceEffectively troubleshoots and repairs PC and peripheral hardware and software issues with minor assistanceAccurately diagnose problems with hardware and software on products offered through the dealership and provide solutions, if applicableMaintain a clean work area and perform work in a neat and orderly fashionComplete all documents required in conjunction with work assignmentsEscalates priority issues and provides communication to the department and management regarding critical system issuesManages and creates user accounts, including new user setup, resetting of passwords and managing locked accounts.Perform preventative maintenance on company devices. Associate degree in computer technology preferred. Experience can substitute for educationStrong knowledge of PCs and related software to effectively assist users with issuesAbility to problem solve by using all available resources
