We pride ourselves on innovation, quality, and delivering tailored solutions to meet our clients' unique needs.Position Summary The Assembler is responsible for the assembly and fabrication of finished products in accordance with manufacturing standards. This role also provides operational support across multiple departments and performs additional tasks as directed by the Team Lead or Production Supervisor.  Roles and Responsibilities Assemble and fabricate sheet metal components according to schematics, drawings and work instructions under the direction of a Team Lead or Supervisor.  Safely operate small hand and power tools, including but not limited to wrenches, drills and grinders.  Maintain tools and equipment in proper working condition and promptly report any defects or malfunctions to Supervision.  Perform work in accordance with quality standards, work instructions and inspection requirements to ensure products meet specifications. Conduct basic visual inspections of parts and assemblies and report defects, discrepancies or quality concerns to the appropriate Team Lead or Supervisor. Support cross‑training efforts by learning additional tasks or stations to provide coverage during absences or high‑volume periods. Work collaboratively with team members to maintain steady workflow and meet production schedules. Support and comply with company inventory control and material-handling procedures.  Load and unload incoming materials and finished products to support production and shipping activities.  Assist tradespeople, Team Leads and Supervisors as required to ensure project timelines are met, while adhering to safety standards and the 5S workplace organization program.   Roles and Responsibilities Continued Communicate regularly with the Team Lead or Supervisor to receive assignments and confirm job priorities.  Learn and adapt to new projects, tasks and responsibilities as production needs change.  Participate in training and become familiar with new tools, equipment and processes as introduced.  Meet established production targets while maintaining quality and safety standards. Maintain a clean, safe and organized work area, with particular attention to end-of-shift housekeeping.  Identify and report any unsafe conditions, practices or procedures to the Team Lead or Supervisor.  Move materials using forklifts or overhead cranes when trained and authorized. Perform all duties in accordance with Silent-Aire safety program standards and Alberta Occupational Health and Safety Act, Regulations and Code. Other duties may be assigned as deemed necessary.  Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Ability to operate required equipment in a safe and responsible manner. Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes, assembly techniques and fabrication methods. Knowledge of appropriate materials, methods and the tools required in various assembly processes. Understanding of workplace health and safety requirements, including hazard identification, safe work practices and use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Ability to read and interpret basic drawings, schematics, work instructions and assembly documentation. Basic knowledge of quality standards, inspection requirements and defect identification. Awareness of inventory control, material handling and housekeeping practices (i.e., 5S Program).  Understanding of company policies, procedures and expectations in a safety‑sensitive environment. Ability to assemble components accurately while following detailed instructions and tolerances. Ability to adapt to new tasks, tools, equipment, processes and production requirements. Ability to recognize unsafe conditions or practices and take appropriate action, including stopping work and reporting concerns to supervision. Must be able to read a tape measure and perform simple mathematical fractional equations. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Continued Demonstrated ability to Diploma or equivalent. Technical training in manufacturing or fabrication is considered an asset. Forklift and/or overhead crane certification is an asset or willingness to obtain certification, if required. Ability to read blueprints is considered an asset.  Working Conditions Required to work in a manufacturing environment that may involve exposure to noise, moving machinery, varying temperatures and other production‑related hazards. Required to use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) to prevent exposure to hazardous materials and excessive noise levels in the
