Let’s shape tomorrow - it’ll be a fun journey!Position SummaryThe Vendor Management Leader serves as a strategic liaison between Ingram Micro and its vendor partners, driving the execution, performance, and continuous improvement of vendor programs. This role is responsible for managing vendor relationships, negotiating contractual terms, and ensuring alignment with business objectives across marketing, training, and operational initiatives.The position focuses on delivering measurable value through vendor performance management, program execution, and issue resolution, while fostering strong, results-driven partnerships. This role leads a multi-level team and drives operational plans that support both day-to-day execution and longer-term strategic goals.What You’ll DoAct as the primary liaison between vendors and internal teams to ensure alignment on business objectives and program executionLead the implementation and ongoing management of vendor programs, including marketing and training initiativesBuild and maintain strong, performance-driven vendor relationships that support business growthReview, negotiate, and manage vendor contracts and commercial termsEnsure contractual obligations are clearly defined, communicated, and metMonitor vendor performance against KPIs and drive corrective actions to improve outcomesEstablish processes to track and report vendor effectiveness and program performanceInvestigate and resolve invoice discrepancies, contractual issues, and operational challengesAct as an escalation point for complex vendor and program-related concernsLead and develop a team of professionals and managers, driving accountability and performanceSet clear objectives and guide execution of operational plans and strategic initiativesInfluence cross-functional stakeholders to align on policies, processes, and program executionContribute to and support the execution of functional strategies and operational plansWhat You Bring to the Role8+ years of experience in vendor management, operations, or related business functionsMinimum of 5 years of leadership experience, including managing managers or supervisorsProven ability to lead and develop large, multi-level teams while driving accountability and resultsStrong experience managing vendor relationships, including contract negotiation and performance oversightAbility to resolve complex operational and contractual issues with a practical, solution-oriented approachExperience implementing operational plans and contributing to functional strategyDemonstrated ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders, vendors, and leadershipHigh level of ownership with the ability to prioritize resources, meet objectives, and deliver resultsExperience in technology or distribution environments preferredBachelor’s degree required or equivalent relevant experienceFluency in English and Spanish requiredThe typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $125,600.00 - $213,500.00 per year.The ranges above reflect the potential annual base pay across the U.S. for all roles; the applicable base pay range will depend on the candidate’s primary work location, pay grade, and variable compensation plan. Individual base pay within each range depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time of hire. New hires starting base pay generally falls in the bottom half (between the minimum and midpoint) of a pay range.At Ingram Micro certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including merit increases, annual bonus or sales incentives and long-term incentives. These awards are allocated based on position level and individual performance.
