The clerk will use various warehouse equipment and computer systems. Training will be provided.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Package prescription medications according to regulatory requirements.Retrieve, count, pour, weigh or measure quantities of medications as directed by the medication order.Review patient notes and preferences on pharmacy operating system; incorporate direction accordingly.Assemble patient information materials as specified by the pharmacistReceive medication deliveries and maintain medication inventory with a first-in-first-out mind set.Support in the management of the pharmacy’s medication inventory, including expiry checks, product organization, etc.Support in the management of supply-related needs.Support in the maintenance of an organized work area.Display a desire to support all areas of need within the pharmacy as directed by the pharmacy management team.QUALIFICATIONS:2 years of relatable experience, preferably in a pharmacy settingProficient in Kroll softwareComputer literate, possessing intermediate skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)CRM experience is preferable but not requiredExcellent written, verbal and oral communication skillsTeam player with the ability to work independentlyStrong customer service focusStrong work ethic and positive attitude is a mustStrong interpersonal skills with ability to work independently with minimal supervisionFlexible to situations and adaptable to changeA thorough understanding of quality assurance and delivery of service excellenceExcellent organizational skills, effective time management, and the ability to shift priorities working within established timelinesDemonstrates initiative (learn processes and procedures, various benefits) and displays self-motivation to grasp new concepts quicklyResults-oriented paying attention to detailAbility to multi-taskBilingualism (English and French) is an assetAbility to lift a minimum of 25 lbs and be willing to stand/walk for your shift is an assetWhy Join UsCompetitive compensation, benefits and pension planCareer development and advancement opportunitiesA culture that celebrates innovation and collaborationFlexible work options and wellness programsPre-Employment RequirementsAll offers of employment are conditional upon the successful completion of reference checks and background verification in accordance with company policy.
