The program has Baccalaureate, MSN, and DNP programs. The position includes teaching responsibilities in the classroom and clinical setting as well as a commitment to maintain practice, service, and scholarship responsibilities. The programs within the department are fully accredited and taught in a beautiful facility with state-of-the-art simulation capabilities.  MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Teaching experience and clinical experience.Registered Nurse License in Michigan (or eligible).Doctorate in nursing or related field (enrollment in a doctoral program) with evidence of scholarly activity. Extensive university experience is required for associate rank. If a Doctorate is in a related field, a master's in nursing is required.  Experience and ability to positively interact with all members of the campus communityAbility to perform the essential duties of the position with or without accommodations.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:Experience with online teaching and learning, concept-based curriculum, simulation experience, clinical experience in one or more of the areas (long-term, acute care adult health, community health, critical care, FNP, PMHNP), works well in a team environment, experience in RN to BSN, Family Nurse Practitioner, and/or Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner education.    WORKING CONDITIONS:Duties are generally performed inside and not exposed to adverse conditions.All work associated with this role must be performed within the state of Michigan.The above reflects the general details considered necessary to describe the essential functions of the job.
