Software Developer III - AI Development

You will define technology strategy and set the technical direction for software projects while serving as a mentor to others on the team. The ability to prioritize projects and collaborate effectively with all levels of the organization are keys to success!Responsibilities/Expectations:Leads the design and implementation of sophisticated software features and modules, including hands-on development, testing, and debuggingCollaborates with multi-functional teams to define technical requirementsProvides technical guidance and mentorship to junior and mid-level developersContributes to the documentation of software solutions and processesWorking knowledge of Agentic AI development concepts, including spec-driven development approaches (e.g., defining, testing, and iterating against structured specifications) and familiarity with agent-based or orchestrated workflow patternsPractical familiarity with enterprise AI platforms and governance practices, including model lifecycle management, monitoring, and use of centralized platforms or control planes with defined governance guardrails and policy considerationsDemonstrates initiative to stay current with AI technologies, with evidence of applying new tools, techniques, or frameworks in development projectsPreferred: Experience building AI-driven solutions or agents using platforms such as Microsoft AI Foundry, Databricks Genie, Google Vertex AI, or similar enterprise AI development environmentWorking knowledge of Agentic AI development concepts, including spec-driven development approaches (e.g., defining, testing, and iterating against structured specifications) and familiarity with agent-based or orchestrated workflow patternsPractical familiarity with enterprise AI platforms and governance practices, including model lifecycle management, monitoring, and use of centralized platforms or control planes with defined governance guardrails and policy considerationsDemonstrates initiative to stay current with AI technologies, with evidence of applying new tools, techniques, or frameworks in development projectsPreferred: Experience building AI-driven solutions or agents using platforms such as Microsoft AI Foundry, Databricks Genie, Google Vertex AI, or similar enterprise AI development environments Other duties as assignedEducation/Years of Experience:Required: High school diploma/GED, vocational/technical/ business school, and a minimum of eight (8) years of software development experiencePreferred: Bachelor's Degree, Computer Science or related fieldOther Requirements:Demonstrates outstanding organizational/communication skills and safety as the utmost priorityProficiency in Microsoft Office ApplicationsExpertise in one or more programming languages and frameworksIn-depth knowledge of software architecture and design patternsExperience with performance profiling and optimizationStrong analytical and critical-thinking abilitiesProven experience in leading software projectsProficiency in querying and crafting databases#LI-CT1About Tulsa:Our corporate headquarters is located in downtown Tulsa, Oklahoma, the 2nd largest city in Oklahoma and the 47th most populous in the U.S. Tulsa is known as the Mother of "The Mother Road" - Route 66, and boasts impressive art deco architecture, the #1 city park in the U.S. (The Gathering Place) and is a great venue for live music.
