We’re passionate about empowering people to create beautiful and powerful content and transforming how companies interact with customers across every screen.We’re on a mission to hire the very best and are committed to creating exceptional employee experiences where everyone is respected and has access to equal opportunity.The OpportunityThe team is looking for a motivated Quality Engineering Developer to help ensure the reliability, scalability, and customer quality of next-generation products.In this role, you will work closely with engineers, product managers, designers and reserchers to build test strategies, develop automation, and deliver high-quality software that impacts millions of users.What You’ll DoPartner with engineering, product management, design and research to deliver high-quality features in an agile development environmentDesign, implement, and execute test strategies, including functional and non-functional testingDevelop and maintain automation frameworks, tools, and test infrastructureWrite high-quality automation test plans and automation test cases based on product requirements and design documentationPerform root cause analysis, debug issues, and collaborate with developers to drive timely resolutionConduct both manual and automated validation across different platforms and environmentsContribute to continuous integration / continuous testing pipelinesAnalyze test results, metrics, and quality trends to improve product qualityAdvocate for the end-user experience and ensure customer-focused quality decisionsActively contribute to improving Automation and QE processes, tools, and overall team efficiencyWhat You Need to SucceedBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)3–5 years of experience in software automation and quality engineering (QE developer roles)Strong programming skills in one or more languages (e.g., JavaScript, Python, C++)Experience with AI development tools (e.g. Claude)Experience with test automation frameworks and toolsSolid understanding of software development lifecycle, testing methodologies, and CI/CD practicesExperience with debugging, root cause analysis, and defect tracking workflowsFamiliarity with performance, scalability, or reliability testingFamiliarity with testing desktop, web, or cloud-based applicationsStrong analytical thinking and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across teamsNice to have:Experience with Adobe products or creative workflowsAbout AdobeAdobe empowers everyone to create through innovative platforms and tools that unleash creativity, productivity and personalized customer experiences. Expected Pay Range:Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $114,100 -- $214,950 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process. In California, the pay range for this position is $148,500 - $214,950 At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans.
