The CLI line of business primarily invests and finances affordable housing properties along with supplying capital to CDFI's and investors in New Market tax credits. This role supports our focus on building strong customer relationships while maintaining a strong risk and compliance culture. Responsibilities include execution of all applicable risk programs, such as Credit, Market, Financial Crimes, Operational, and Regulatory Compliance, as well as adherence to Wells Fargo policies and procedures, fulfillment of risk and compliance obligations, timely escalation and remediation of issues, and sound risk-based decision-making. There is a strong emphasis on proactive monitoring, governance, risk identification and escalation, and sound decisions aligned with the business unit’s risk appetite and all risk and compliance program requirements.  Learn more about our career areas and lines of business at wellsfargojobs.com. In this role, you will:Be a contact for creating and distributing business level reports for the CLI business headsPartner with business teams to gather information for reporting and system updatesManage incoming requests and support ongoing work for the Control groupPartner with relevant teams to support effective onboarding and offboarding activitiesWork with business leaders and Finance partners to refine reporting data and enhance existing reportsBuild and automate Excel reports to assess business performanceCreate and maintain desktop procedures and job aidsEnsure the accuracy of data used for reportingTrack internal portfolio monitoring deadlines and prepare meeting materialsCollaborate with COO staff and business partners to support team priorities Required Qualifications:2+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, educationDesired Qualifications:Working knowledge of Affordable Housing, commercial real estate, or large bank operating environments, including finance, operations, controls, or risk2+ years working within financial services preferably supporting CIB or CREStrong analytical skills, including the ability to work with financial statements and accounting conceptsStrong attention to detail and demonstrated ability to execute work with follow-throughStrong business execution, organizational, judgment, and problem-solving skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong team orientation and flexibility to provide backup support as neededAbility to independently manage detailed work and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentProcess improvement mindset supported by data and factsProficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPointFamiliarity with SalesforceExperience with AI and workflow tools that reduce manual tasks through increased automationWillingness to support special projects as neededJob Expectations:This position is subject to FINRA background screening requirements.
