About this role:Wells Fargo is seeking a Redis Systems Operations Manager to lead a high-performing Systems Operations team responsible for the reliability, scalability, and efficiency of enterprise Redis platforms. This role combines hands-on technical expertise, operational leadership, and strategic execution to drive platform stability, automation, and continuous improvement across production environments.You will oversee end-to-end Redis platform operations, including cluster lifecycle management, incident response, observability, and automation as per task catalog, while partnering with engineering, Reliability engineering, and application teams to deliver resilient and scalable services.In this role, you will:Manage a systems Operations team of analysts that monitor installed systems and infrastructureEngage stakeholders and internal partners associated with the Systems Operations functional areaIdentify and recommend opportunities within Systems Operations to increase system efficiency and lower human intervention time on technical tasksMake decisions and resolve issues regarding operating systems, application software, and system management tools to meet business objectivesInterpret and develop policies and procedures, and understand compliance and risk management requirements for supported system areaCollaborate and consult with analysts, Information Technology personnel, or vendorsManage mid to highly experienced analystsManage allocation of people and financial resources for Systems OperationsMentor and guide talent development of direct reports and assist in hiringRequired Qualifications:5+ years of Systems Engineering, and Technology Architecture experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education2+ years of Leadership experience5+ years of hands-on experience supporting REDIS, Python platform operations3+ years of experience supporting enterprise level complex applications and platforms in Production5+ years of designing and building complex observability solutions leveraging industry standard toolset and or custom-built solutions5+ years working with configuration and monitoring technologies such as Ansible, Grafana, Elastic, Splunk, PrometheusDeep expertise with REDIS includes building clusters with pipelines, diagnosing, debugging, remediation, upgrades, patching, and RCAStrong experience in managing large and enterprise level REDIS platformsStrong, production quality Python engineering skillsHandson experience with Python clients and Python librariesAbility to build automated remediation workflows and operational tools in Python. Desired Qualifications:Experience in AI development, including agents, MCP, tools, and related frameworksDemonstrated ability to influence operational improvements across teamsStrong analytical and operational problem‑solving skills.Job Expectations: This position is hybrid and must be located at one of the posted locationsThis position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.Posting End Date: 22 Jun 2026*Job posting may come down early due to volume of applicants.We Value Equal OpportunityWells Fargo is an equal opportunity employer.
