Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Lead Technology Banking Relationship Manager to join our technology banking team. This individual will cover early-stage companies and focus on acquiring new business relationships and deepening an existing portfolio of clients. Learn about the career areas and lines of business at www.wellsfargo.com/careers.In this role, you will:Develop, retain, and grow complex client relationships through the art of relationship management, by understanding the needs and priorities of clients and financial decision makers, responding quickly, communicating proactively but strategically, managing expectations, and soliciting feedbackLead structuring, modification, and renewal of complex cash flow, real estate loans, and certain other industry specific solutions within Commercial Banking by analyzing financials, presenting to clients, coordinating with internal stakeholders, and partnering with senior peers to execute more complex transactionsReview, understand, and offer the full suite of complex solutions offered by Wells Fargo to commercial clients to meet complex needs that require solid understanding and an in-depth evaluation, by engaging product organizations to develop client specific solutions, leveraging a solid understanding of clients’ businesses, strategic objectives, operational priorities, and financial positionsMake decisions in complex and multi-faceted situations within the Commercial Banking Relationship Management group requiring solid understanding of relevant policies, procedures, and compliance requirements that influence and lead team to meet deliverables and drive new initiativesStrategically collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and middle to senior level managers to resolve client issues while achieving Wells Fargo’s business objectives, by helping clients navigate Wells Fargo’s processes, escalating inquiries when needed, and identifying and recommending opportunities for process improvements and risk control enhancements; serve as a mentor for less experienced colleaguesDrive relationship planning activities to deliver the full suite of solutions and maintain sales and pipeline disciplines by keeping information current in relevant systemsSupport Business Development Representatives in sourcing new Commercial Banking clients, by cultivating relationships through existing networksPartner with Commercial Lending Product Management to provide feedback and recommendations to leadership on client and market needs to enable the innovation, design, and delivery of credit solutions more effectivelyRequired Qualifications:7+ years of Commercial Banking Relationship Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, educationDesired Qualifications:Fundamental knowledge of the technology ecosystemExtensive relationships with technology companies, venture capital firms, non-bank lenders, and service providersComprehensive knowledge and understanding of core banking products and services, such as commercial lending and treasury management Completion of formal credit training programComprehensive knowledge and understanding of core banking products and services, such as commercial lending and treasury managementDemonstrated experience working collaboratively to deliver the organization to clients and prospectsDemonstrated experience generating new client relationships, building and retaining long-term client relationshipsExperience identifying and mitigating risk, ensuring compliance with processes and proceduresExcellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skillsJob Expectations:This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorshipSpecific compliance policies may apply regarding outside activities or personal investing; affected employees will be expected to provide information to the Wells Fargo Personal Account Dealing Team and abide by applicable policy requirements if hired. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to demonstrated examples of prior performance, skills, experience, or work location.
