Diesel Mechanic

We have an immediate position open for a Diesel Mechanic to work on our fleet of trucks at The Dalles Disposal, in The Dalles, OR.Mechanics interested in secure, steady employment are encouraged to apply. The Dalles Disposal has new shop leadership. Pay and Schedule:Schedule: Monday – Friday, 6:30 AM – 3:00 PMPay: $38/hour, with overtime as neededPreferred Qualifications:5+ years of heavy diesel experienceExperience with Peterbilt, International, and Freightliner chassisExperience with Cummins and International engines, including diagnostic softwareHydraulic troubleshooting and repair experienceWelding and fabrication experienceClass B CDL or willingness to get (to test drive after repairs) a huge plus, but not requiredBenefits:$1,500 annual safety bonus$300 annual boot allowanceContinued formal chassis and engine trainingWaste Connections is an equal opportunity employer.
