Monitor AGV software platforms and integrations with WES/WCS systems for optimized vehicle traffic and task efficiency.Manage day-to-day performance and health of AGV/LGV systems including uptime, fault response, and battery diagnostics. Ensure all equipment and automation is at solution up time. Basic cost tracking of spare parts and vendor costs.Manage performance of direct reports to include LGV Technicians and LGV Fault Chasers (also referred to as “Wranglers”). Track/minimize staff OT.Must complete basic planning for PMs and typical repair projects for a specific site/sites. This includes day-to-day troubleshooting and repair, as well as identifying and driving continuous improvement initiatives and fostering accountability.Assist in the Implementation of business maintenance programs. Assist in directing the maintenance activities including policy compliance, marketing and sales support. This includes the monitoring of KPI’s that has been set up previously, MTF, vendor response, along with other critical items needed to support optimal automation performance. Lead the calibration and alignment of AGV systems (e.g., LIDAR, encoders, navigation sensors, drive units). Generate and present detailed equipment health reports, downtime trends, and maintenance KPIs.Manage teams internally to ensure the best result at the most cost-effective solution. Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) on recurring faults or systemic issues; implement corrective and preventive actions.Adhere to maintenance strategies.Perform and manage preventative maintenance functions of team on lower, to mid complexity automated sites.Additional ResponsibilitiesPerform other duties as requested.Skills and AbilitiesAbility to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization (peers, work groups, customers, supervisors)., RequiredAble to manage multiple internal/external customers through their team to achieve required timelines., RequiredDemonstrated ability to read, analyze, and interpret operation manuals, operating and maintenance instructions, blueprints, etc., RequiredMust be a critical problem solver and know how to escalate issues outside the 4 walls., RequiredQualificationsH.S. Diploma/GED, RequiredBachelor's degree in business, Logistics, Engineering, or related field., Preferred3 years or more in maintenance management experience while supervising others, Required5 years or more in automation/mechanical maintenance, RequiredElectrical (including high voltage systems) and mechanical equipment, conveyance systems and warehouse automation. Advanced, RequiredBackground in managing vendors. Advanced, RequiredExperience using and in trouble-shooting automation control issues usingWarehouse Control Systems (WCS) or Warehouse Execution Systems (WES) or advanced PLC troubleshooting. Advanced, RequiredExperience maintaining spare parts inventories and Preventive Maintenance schedules using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). Advanced, RequiredBasic proficiency in MS Excel and maintenance software.
