That’s where you come in.You’ll be joining the Power Hardware Engineering group where we design and test the high voltage (most commonly 3 phase 480V) printed circuit boards, bus bars, power components and variable frequency drives as a whole.  These products enable our customers to achieve their optimum motor control and save energy. This role reports to the Power Engineering Team Lead and is located in Mequon, Wisconsin.What you will doModify and test high voltage printed circuits boards using oscilloscopes, DMMs and other lab equipmentRun both functional and qualification tests in our expansive in house motor dyne test lab using Drive Explorer and CCW (Connected Components Workbench)Provide cross functional support and troubleshooting throughout development phaseSkills you haveSoldering: both small components down to 0402s as well as heavy copper (multi layer of 2 oz) through hole componentsTaking and understanding high voltage and current measurements on oscilloscopes and DMMsDrive Explorer, CCW (Connected Components Workbench) and SAPBasic qualificationsHigh School Diploma or GEDLegal authorization to work in the US is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.​Preferred qualificationsTypically requires a minimum of 2 years of related experienceExperience working safely with high voltage (>50V)Ability to solder and desolder both through hole and SMT componentsAbility to troubleshoot electronic circuits from a schematic and assembly drawingExperience wiring and running a variable frequency driveExperience performing breakdown of components testingExperience performing thermal, short circuit and EMC testingExperience working on a cross functional scrum agile teamExperience maintaining, organizing and making recommendations for updating equipment in labsWho we areWe are a global leader in industrial automation and digital transformation.
