You may review, modify, or update your information by visiting and logging into the careers section of the system.Job Description:At Regions, the Data Products Partner defines and oversees the development of internal products/solutions that leverage Big Data and advanced analytics to increase the profitability and efficiency for a specific business unit(s) in the Bank.  Manages the complete lifecycle of these internal data products from inception, development, assessment of success, and maintenance.Primary ResponsibilitiesWorks with a business unit to identify areas where Big Data and advanced analytics solutions can be leveraged to solve specific business problemsPrioritizes product pipeline and create roadmap of products to be builtDevelops business requirements that govern the development of the proposed solutionIdentifies applicable data assets required to build the solutionIdentifies features to build predictive models that are part of the solutionParticipates in the build versus buy decision making process and vendor selection where applicableCreates success criteria and measurement approach to assess the impact of deployed Data ProductsWorks with decision scientists to ensure model development strategy is consistent with goals and assisting in the validation of predictive modelsCoordinates with Big Data architects to create necessary infrastructure and technology stacks to enable solution developmentOversees the solution acceptance testing processHandles high priority strategic initiatives and determines the best products to be utilizedInteracts with executive level managementMay participate in industry conferences related to solving financial services problems using advanced analytics/Big DataEnsures compliance with risk management programs, rules and regulations, and cybersecurity practices; identifies opportunities for and supports process improvements; applies disciplined change management practicesThis position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, Statistics, or related field and eight (8) years of experience in related data work and interfacing with business stakeholdersOr High School Diploma or GED and twelve (12) years of experience in related data work and interfacing with business stakeholdersExperience working through the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) of software development and liaising with Business and Technology/Data teams leading development of Analytical Software solutions following Agile methodologyProduct Management or related experiencePreferencesMaster’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics or any other related quantitative fieldFinancial Services experienceSkills and CompetenciesAbility to interpret and ensure compliance with applicable rules, regulations, and industry guidanceAbility to research, analyze data, and derive factsAbility to work in a team environment when applicableAdvanced ability to build executive level presentationsDemonstrates willingness to take ownership and drive accountability working with all levels of the organizationProficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)Strong verbal, written communication, and organizational skillsThis position is intended to be onsite, now or in the near future. Associates will have regular work hours, including full days in the office three or more days a week.  The manager will set the work schedule for this position, including in-office expectations.  Regions will not provide relocation assistance for this position, and relocation would be at your expense. The locations available for this role are Birmingham, AL, Atlanta, GA or Charlotte, NC.Regions will not sponsor applicants for work visas for this position at this time. Position TypeFull timeCompensation DetailsPay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role.
