This role works cross-functionally with Operations, Customer Service, and Procurement to investigate discrepancies, manage inventory movements, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform cycle counts and full inventory audits; investigate, reconcile, and report discrepancies between physical inventory and system recordsMaintain accurate inventory records and support reporting on inventory performance, variances, and trendsExecute recall procedures and ensure timely and compliant actionsPartner with internal and external stakeholders to resolve inventory-related inquiries and issuesMonitor product expiry dates and coordinate actions with Customer Service and Procurement to minimize risk and wasteOperate material handling equipment (e.g., forklifts) as requiredManage return-to-vendor (RTV) processes, including debit notes and shipment coordination, to meet financial and operational requirementsIdentify opportunities for process improvement and support continuous improvement initiatives within Inventory Control and OperationsEnsure safe handling of materials and compliance with health and safety standards while operating equipmentQualifications & RequirementsMinimum 2 years of experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experienceStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detailForklift certification or experience operating material handling equipment preferredExperience with warehouse systems and Microsoft Office (Excel familiarity preferred)Effective communication and interpersonal skills; ability to collaborate across teamsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentDemonstrated initiative, adaptability, and willingness to learn new processes and systemsAbility to lift up to 50 lbs and work on the warehouse floorFlexibility to work extended hours based on business needsPreferred Assets (Nice to Have)Experience working in a distribution centre (DC), healthcare, or regulated environmentKnowledge of inventory systems (e.g., SAP or WMS platforms)Experience supporting audits, compliance activities, or quality processesCareer Level – IC – Operations Support – O3We are proud to offer a competitive compensation package at McKesson as part of our Total Rewards.
