Through our commitment to training, growth and quality, we consistently achieve superior clinical outcomes while giving teammates the opportunity to excel in an award-winning environment that enables them to thrive both professionally and personally.DaVita’s procurement team also known as PRISM (Procurement, Risk reduction, Innovation, and Supply Management) is on a multi-year journey of transforming our procurement / supply-chain / strategic sourcing process to be the best for our patients and partners and are looking for an innovative Category Manager, Travel Services with Travel Management Company contracting, Airline & Hotel rate negotiation experience to join our team. Responsibilities:The following duties and responsibilities generally reflect the expectations of this position but are not intended to be all-inclusive.Travel / Entertainment / MeetingsDevelop and drive category strategy(s) to assess market, supply/demand risks and opportunities.Collaborate with corporate (Atlas) and field leaders to understand key supplier deliverables develop and implement meaningful service levels, and KPIs to meet objectives.Act as primary point of contact for key travel related suppliers (ex, travel mgt company, top used airlines, hotels, and rental car companies); Facilitate and execute supplier meetings and operating reviews; Negotiate and execute necessary agreements.Partner with DaVita’s Account Payables team to support travel & expense related administration, training, and systems support (ex, Concur).Partner with DaVita’s Event Management (Wisdom) teams to support related categories and programs (e.g., Group Meetings >100 attendees)Development of forward-thinking improvements that advance DaVita's ability to optimize our supply management capabilities and bring visibility to supplier performance and opportunities to deliver incremental value across the organization and to our patients, and teammates.Monitor metrics, track progress and prepare presentations for senior management.Influence and support company initiative as they relate to cost savings, supplier diversity, inclusion and sustainability.Jet ServicesResponsible for supporting jet services procurement activities for senior leaders and Board membersServe as the point of contact between jet services suppliers and DaVita finance teamsCreate and execute Purchase Orders and/or other payment needsResolve travel issues as they ariseManage feedback communication with executives and suppliersQualifications:7+ years of professional work experience3+ years of corporate travel experience requiredExcellent executive presence and ability to interact directly with C-Suite leaders5+ years of Procurement/Purchasing Experience preferredSchedule flexibility for needs outside normal business hours and accountable for ensuring backup supportExperience with vendor relationship management and working with 3rd party providersKeen attention to detail with qualitative and quantitative inputsHighly honed contracting and negotiation skillsExperience with travel management systems and technology (eg, Concur)Bachelor’s degree required (Business, Finance, Supply Chain, or Operations preferred)CPSM or similar certification preferredWhat We’ll Provide: More than just pay, our DaVita Rewards package connects teammates to what matters most.
