Maintenance Technician (2pm-10pm)

Shift: 2:00 PM-10:00 PMHourly Rate: $32.45 an hour + $0.75 shift differentialReporting to the Maintenance Team Leader, you will support the operation and maintenance of production and facility equipment at our Louisville manufacturing plant to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operations. You will troubleshoot equipment issues, perform preventive maintenance, and partner with production teams to minimize downtime and maintain production goals.A Taste of Your ResponsibilitiesPerform preventive maintenance and repair of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems on production equipmentTroubleshoot equipment failures and identify root causes to restore operations quickly and safelyComplete work orders and document maintenance activities accurately in maintenance systemsInspect equipment and facilities to identify potential issues and recommend improvementsSupport installation, modification, and commissioning of new equipment and systemsCollaborate with production teams to address downtime and improve overall equipment reliabilityFollow all safety policies and procedures including lockout/tagout and personal protective equipment requirementsMaintain a clean and organized work area to support food safety and operational standardsIngredients Required for Your SuccessHigh school diploma or GEDAssociates degree in industrial maintenance or related technical field preferred; equivalent industrial maintenance experience may be considered in lieu of formal educationExperience in industrial maintenance within a manufacturing environmentKnowledge of mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting practicesExperience working with motors, conveyors, pumps, and automated systemsExperience reading and interpreting technical manuals, schematics, and diagramsBasic computer skills for work order systems and documentationWillingness to work flexible schedules, including overtime and weekends as neededStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detailExperience working independently and as part of a teamPhysical RequirementsMore information on the essential tasks and facility will be shared during the hiring process.
