Warehouse Clerk

Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, you will support warehouse operations by coordinating inbound and outbound shipments, maintaining accurate inventory movements, and ensuring timely communication with carriers, production, and planning teams at our Louisville, Kentucky manufacturing facility.A Taste of Your ResponsibilitiesCreate inbound deliveries aligned to production schedules and analyze daily production requirementsCommunicate with production managers, team leads, and supply planning to coordinate material flowMonitor transfer ribbon activity and handling unit stock to ensure accurate system inventoryManage outbound selections from reports and adjust shipment timing to align with inbound productionReview system opportunities for outbound loading and optimize shipment schedulingPrepare and print loading documents, shipping manifests, and bills of ladingReconcile inbound delivery documentation and ensure accuracy of all shipment recordsTrack and account for unused handling units, resolving discrepancies and missed scansPartner with inventory control and warehouse leadership to locate and correct unscanned handling unitsRun system reports, including bin status and inbound delivery monitors, to ensure inventory integritySchedule outbound shipments and coordinate occasional inbound deliveries with carriersMonitor shipment requests, verify inventory availability, and confirm carrier appointmentsCommunicate with warehouse dock teams and supervisors to manage capacity and schedulingFollow up on delayed or missed carrier appointments and resolve scheduling issuesMaintain strong communication with carriers, customers, and internal stakeholders including customer service, deployment, and transportation planningProvide daily updates to carriers regarding preloaded trailers and shipment readinessCoordinate trailer and equipment needs based on business demand and warehouse capacityEscalate operational issues and provide updates to warehouse leadershipIngredients Required for Your SuccessHigh school diploma or GED required; Associates degree preferredMinimum of 3 years of experience in customer facing role; logistics experience preferred.Experience maintaining inventory records, reconciling discrepancies, and managing system-based inventory transactions preferredProficiency using Microsoft Office systems; SAP experience preferredEffective communication skills to collaborate across teams and with external partnersPhysical RequirementsMore information about essential tasks and the facility will be shared during the hiring process.
