Job description

Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, you will lead, manage, and direct the plant’s Material Planning team to ensure optimal raw material availability, inventory health, and production schedule attainment. You will drive system adoption, master data integrity, and advanced analytics to support supply chain transformation goals. You will develop and maintain processes that ensure timely material flow within working capital guidelines while leveraging enterprise systems and data-driven decision-making.A Taste of Your ResponsibilitiesDirect, coach, and develop a team of Material Planners to promote accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvementSet performance expectations and provide ongoing feedback, training, and development opportunitiesAct as a change agent for system adoption, process standardization, and digital transformation at the plantEnsure effective use of SAP and Power BI for material planning, inventory management, and reporting activitiesLead master data governance including validation, cleansing, and ongoing maintenance of material, supplier, and planning dataPartner with Manufacturing and Operations Planning, Sales and Operations Planning, Procurement, Transportation, Warehousing, and Operations to align planning processesCollaborate with the Supply Planning Center of Excellence to uphold data quality standards and support enterprise initiativesDrive adoption of analytics and reporting tools including dashboards and exception-based planning to enable proactive decision-makingSupport automation and process improvement initiatives using digital toolsManage working capital by monitoring inventory levels, analyzing variances, and executing action plans to meet targetsCoordinate with Quality Assurance and Finance to manage obsolete, aged, and suspect materials including disposition and removalPartner with Research and Development, Quality, and corporate purchasing teams on new product introductions and vendor transitionsCommunicate material risks and contingency plans to plant leadership and cross-functional partnersFacilitate supplier quality and service improvements using data and analyticsDevelop and maintain reporting capabilities to monitor key performance indicators, inventory health, and planning effectivenessBenchmark plant performance and lead continuous improvement effortsLead and participate in projects related to planning modernization, system enhancements, and process optimizationIngredients Required for Your SuccessBachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field5+ years of experience in material planning, purchasing, inventory management, logistics, or supply chain systemsExperience working in a manufacturing environmentDemonstrated expertise in SAP and Power BIExperience with master data management and advanced reportingStrong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skillsStrong communication skills with the ability to engage all levels of the organization and external partnersExperience leading teams in a matrixed environmentExperience driving system adoption and digital transformation initiativesSelf-directed with a results-oriented mindset and commitment to continuous improvementPhysical RequirementsMore information about essential tasks and the facility will be shared during the hiring process. This role may require you to be in our manufacturing facilities. Noise levels can be high, and temperatures may vary.#LI-Onsite#LI-MSL#LI-PM2Compensation Pay Range:$82,000-$120,000The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position.
