Grain Handling Operator

Shift: 7:00 AM-3:00 PMHourly Rate: $23.31 an hourReporting to the 1st Shift Supervisor, you will support grain receiving, storage, and transportation operations by safely moving materials, supporting processing activities, and maintaining food safety and quality standards in a manufacturing environment.A Taste of Your ResponsibilitiesDrive grain transport vehicles and haul materials between the warehouse and the plantLoad, unload, and dump inbound and outbound trucksTransfer popcorn and maintain hauling and bin equipmentAssist processing operators with daily production activitiesPerform light maintenance duties as neededConduct quality tests on grainClean grain and trash bins and level storage binsSupport fumigation of storage bins when requiredMaintain good housekeeping and good manufacturing practicesFollow all food safety and quality requirementsIngredients Required for Your SuccessHigh school diploma or equivalentExperience with grain elevators and or grain processing1+ year supporting food safety and quality standardsValid driver’s licenseWillingness to work in all weather conditionsPhysical RequirementsMore information on the essential tasks and facility will be shared during the hiring process. Please be aware that in a manufacturing environment, the noise levels can be high and the temperatures may vary.
