Job DescriptionResponsibilities::Supports manufacturing operations (3rd Shift) for injection molding processes, including machine setup, operation, and basic troubleshooting.Executes production schedules by adjusting machine parameters, monitoring equipment efficiency, and ensuring proper material availability and handling.Maintains consistent product quality by following standardized processes, performing in-process inspections, and identifying defects or process deviations.Collaborates with engineering and production teams to optimize cycle times, improve yield, and ensure output meets required volume and quality targets.Key SkillsInjection molding machine setup and operation (presses, auxiliaries)Process parameter adjustment (temperature, pressure, cycle time)Mold installation, changeovers, and preventive careTroubleshooting of molding defects (short shots, flash, sink, warp)Understanding of resins and material handling (drying, blending)Equipment monitoring and OEE awarenessIn-process inspection and basic metrology (calipers, gauges)Quality systems compliance (GMP, ISO 13485, documentation practices)Safety procedures and lockout/tagout (LOTO)Production scheduling awareness and priority executionLean manufacturing principles (5S, waste reduction)Basic mechanical and electrical aptitudeTeam collaboration and communication skillsAt BD, we prioritize on-site collaboration because we believe it fosters creativity, innovation, and effective problem-solving, which are essential in the fast-paced healthcare industry.
