Job DescriptionEssential / Key Job Responsibilities (including supervisory and/or fiscal): Cleaning and disinfection of lab spacesCollect, record, and analyze sample analysis results data accuratelyConduct sample analysis testing outlined in protocolsDecontamination of complaint samples received in the LabDocumentation of complaint samples received for evaluation purposesIdentify and escalate all unexpected sample analysis results to the supervisor and franchise teamMaintain good documentation practices (GDP) when recording preliminary and sample analysis resultsMaintain good laboratory practices (GLP) consistent with biosafety laboratory practicesMaintains a clean and safe lab work environmentMaintains a professional working relationship with internal and external customers and support staffParticipate in project planning, scheduling, and trackingStorage and disposal of complaint samples in accordance with applicable proceduresSupport continuous improvement of lab processes and test methodsUnderstand and follow procedures and regulatory requirementsUse calibrated laboratory equipment and toolsRequired Qualifications:Ability to work in cross-functional teamsBasic problem-solving / troubleshooting skillsDetail-orientedMust have proof of Hep B series, be willing to undergo Hep B series, or sign waiverMust have technical writing skillsProficient in MS OfficePreferred Qualifications:Ability to read engineering drawingsLab Safety SkillsOGP Flash 500 Smartscope experienceOral and written presentation skillsPerform testing per written directionsEducation and/or Experience:Associate degree in technical studies, science, math, or engineering optionalMedical industry (GMP) and/or lab experience preferredPhysical Demands:While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit, use sight, and use hands to manipulate, handle or feel objects, tools, controls, and office equipment. The employee frequently is required to verbally communicate with other associates. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel or crouch. Work Environment:While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be in an open cubicle environment. Candidate must be able to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.
